How the Site Behaves in In-App Browsers vs Full Browsers
When you open the site in a full browser, everything works as expected:
Key Points
- Camera permission prompt appears and can be granted
- Motion sensors are accessible (iPhone)
- 3D content loads and renders properly
Helpful Notes
- AR tracking works smoothly
- Audio features are available
- Stealth code entry and payment work normally
- Camera blocked - the in-app browser won't ask for or grant camera permission
- AR won't start - without camera access, the experience can't begin
- You may be redirected - the site may detect the in-app browser and show a message asking you to open in a full browser
- Payment may not work - some in-app browsers have issues with payment flows
- The link itself is the same. The difference is which browser opens it. In-app browsers are stripped-down and lack the features AR needs. Full browsers (Safari, Chrome) have all the required capabilities.
- See our article "Why In-App Browsers Break AR Experiences" for step-by-step instructions on how to open the link in your full browser from any app.
