How to Fix a Black Screen in WebAR
Use this guide if the screen is black before the experience starts, after loading, or during an active AR session.
Key Points
- Refresh the page - this resolves most one-time loading issues
- Check camera permission - make sure it's set to Allow in your phone settings
- Close other apps - free up memory and GPU resources
- Switch networks - if you're on shaky WiFi, try cellular data or vice versa
- Force restart the browser - close all tabs, force-close the app, reopen
